WHAT IS REIKI
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force.
It has also been referred to in other cultures as light, chi, prana, and spirit. It is the life force that exists in all things. The practice of Reiki is the art and science of channeling this universal life force (or source) energy to promote spiritual, mental, and physical well being. Reiki is not associated with any particular religion and can be used alongside any spiritual system, medical practice or other alternative healing modalities.
WHAT REIKI CAN DO
The positions balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain and balance all the chakras and the energy field. They clear and increase the flow of life force Ki. The energy eases pain, relaxes tense muscles and calms the emotions, thereby bringing the body into a state in which it can heal itself.
It will not interfere with medication or other procedures, other than to make them more effective and the recipient more comfortable. The energy also speeds up healing.
